I have been an attorney for over 25 years, and more than 20 of those years as a partner with Personius Melber LLP. Getting to know our clients and the challenges they face, and then helping them overcome those challenges, is what drives me. We regularly choose to collaborate with other attorneys, to offer the benefit of adding the unique talents and perspectives of other outstanding counsel. For me, this collaboration is at once enjoyable and rewarding.

On the civil side, I represent both plaintiffs and defendants in accident and injury cases, sexual assault and Title IX matters, business disputes, and land use litigation. As a criminal defense attorney, I handle federal white collar crimes, environmental, and homicide cases (including death penalty). I also defend medical providers and other professionals charged with offenses relating to their work.

I am proud of my four children and two grandchildren, and I am happy to have the opportunity to share in their lives. The City of Buffalo is my home and I am excited about its future. I believe professional and community engagement are important. Presently, I am serving as Vice President/President-Elect of the Bar Association of Erie County and on the Boards of Directors for the Erie County Bar Association Assigned Counsel Program and the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association.
