As a recent graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law, I am delighted to start my career as an attorney with a team well-versed in handling complex, high-profile civil and criminal matters in both federal and state courts. The firm’s vast spectrum of cases ensures I will spend my days being both busy and challenged.

I come to the legal field with years of experience as an on-air journalist. Upon graduating from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, I joined a local news station as a “multimedia journalist.” I immersed myself in the Western New York community developing relationships and sources, pitching my stories, operating my camera, and writing and editing stories myself. I also worked at news stations in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and in my hometown, Youngstown, Ohio.

This experience sharpened my investigative and communication skills, and provided an opportunity to understand the intrinsic value of storytelling. Reporting on crime-related incidents gave me a front row seat to the experiences of those who interact with the judicial system, from victims to defendants to law enforcement. This was an invaluable experience, particularly from the standpoint of grasping their diverse reactions to and interests in the same traumatic event.

Originally (almost) a Midwesterner, I now proudly call Western New York home. I live in the City of Buffalo with my two rescue dogs, Romeo, a Doberman and Lab mix, and Dolly, a Boxer and Pitbull mix.
